still ttc...

well, this month seems to have been a bust. i ended up ovulating a week early, which would normally be great because i tend to ovulate on cd19, but unfortunately we had a house guest! sigh... we had even purposefully planned this house guest to make sure it wouldn't be during my predicated o time. so now during this long 2ww i've been taking too many ic hpts (i got 50 for $10 on amazon, much better than $12 for two at our local drugstore) and they've all come up negative, but, so far my period has yet to show.

yesterday morning i was pretty down about how long it has been taking for us to get pregnant. i finally said out loud to myself, "my life isn't going as i wanted it to". i can't believe that we have now been trying now for 8 months. i would have thought i would have been pregnant by now.

next week i'm schedule for my annual exam with my gynecologist, so i'm going to bring up the subject of testing. last time i was there they said to give it a full year, but that is starting to seem excessive given my age and that i've been charting and using opks for the entire time.
