not pregnant (?) + early spotting

i'm 8 dpo and started spotting and feel all crampy, so i took a ic hpt and got a negative. (in my mind its negative until proven accurate by actual period, it could be too early to test right?! ;) i'm always full of false hope!)  i'm attributing the spotting to the evil polyp.

i wish i was pregnant.
